Hello, I’m Jae
I founded Sun Hands Bodywork 10 years ago to serve a community dedicated to returning to themselves, tapping into growth, & walking the path of healing. My objective is both simple & significant - YOU. My work centers around slow, deliberate bodywork designed to help the nervous system settle while gently addressing muscular tension. By working at an intentionally unhurried pace, together we can create space for the body, mind, & breath to reconnect while moving toward greater ease.
I find exceptional power in moving through life’s challenges together as a community & consider it an honor to support individuals through many stages of life — grief, transitions, healing from abuse, & the journey of rediscovering inner peace. You are welcome to share as much or as little of Your inner experience as you wish during our time together.
{ sessions are Customized to meet you where you are & include a blend of many modalities }

Lighter bodywork can be beneficial for opening up energetic pathways, general relaxation, & helping ease a number of other ailments including digestive issues, stress, & insomnia. lighter does not mean less productive!
-
Keep in mind that the body works as a system of chains & in order to be effective with deeper work, it might require longer sessions. this work is good for assessing & addressing structural issues, & for people who like a heavier touch.

This modality involves the therapist using their feet to deliver deep, rhythmic pressure, effectively releasing muscle tension. The broad surface of the feet allows for more consistent pressure and coverage than elbows or knuckles, enhancing the overall therapeutic effect.

“I have a membership at a fairly well-known massage chain. While they are good, there is a lack of a certain human factor. I felt like J really cared for my well-being. She didn’t just treat me like a number. Last year was very difficult for me, so I not only walked away with a physical therapy session, but an emotional one as well. When the session was over, I felt like my body and mind were both unburdened. I hope to see her again.”
“Was referred to J by one of my yoga instructors and am very thankful for it. Have had two sessions with J so far and we will be scheduling more in the coming weeks. J is very professional in her work and has strong, perceptive and attentive hands (and elbows). We’re getting things reset with my body! I’m excited that the restful ness of my sleep seems to be improving greatly also - especially right after a session. I can’t recommend her enough!”
